At Webby Group, we often ask ourselves: how can we grow as a company? The answer always comes back to one thing — when our people grow, our company grows.
This growth doesn’t just come from hitting KPIs or completing projects on time. True growth comes when we understand each other better, collaborate more effectively, and learn how to bring out the best in one another. That’s why our management team recently took part in the DISC Framework programme with 4U Institute, not just to improve ourselves as leaders, but to bring back lessons that can help all of us work and grow together as one team.
The Power of Influence: Building Leadership Through DISC Framework
At Webby Group, we believe leadership isn’t just about making decisions — it’s about influence, empathy, and connection. Recently, our management team joined the DISC Framework by 4U Institute, and the journey gave us fresh insights into ourselves, our teammates, and the way we lead together.
What is DISC?
The DISC model breaks down personalities into four main styles:
- Dominance (D): Bold, decisive, loves results.
- Influence (I): Outgoing, energetic, and people-oriented.
- Steadiness (S): Patient, dependable, and values harmony.
- Conscientiousness (C): Careful, analytical, and detail-focused.
Each of us carries a mix of these traits and learning how they show up in daily interactions is a game-changer for leadership and teamwork.
Team Activities in Action
One of the highlights was the group activities. It was fascinating to watch how different DISC styles naturally came alive, some of us took charge, others organized the details, some brought energy to keep things moving, while others made sure everyone felt included.
It reminded us that great leadership isn’t about doing everything yourself, it’s about creating space where different strengths can shine.
Inner Self-Discovery
The most powerful moment was the inner self-discovery session. We had to pause, look inward, and share our real feelings, even the blind spots we don’t always see in ourselves as leaders. It was vulnerable, but also refreshing.
That exercise reminded us that leadership starts with knowing who we are, so we can show up more authentically for the people around us.

Appreciating the People Who Help Us
Leadership is not a solo journey. Along the way, we’ve been fortunate to have supporters, mentors, and teammates, people who guided us, lifted us up, and walked with us through challenges.
This class was also a reminder that leadership is not only about guiding others, but also about appreciating the people who help us along the way. Influence flows both ways: while we strive to inspire others, we are also shaped by those who lift us up.
Taking Back to Webby Group
We didn’t just learn about the DISC Framework; we learned how to bring it back into our daily leadership. For us, that means:
W – Work with empathy and understanding
E – Empower through communication & innovation
B – Build stronger team connections
B – Balance different personalities and strengths
Y – Yield growth together as one team
Leadership is always a work in progress, and this class gave us the power tools to keep growing. We’re excited to carry these lessons forward as we continue shaping a culture of collaboration at Webby Group.
The journey doesn’t stop here.
I still have much to improve, kindly be patient and guide me.
A Message to Our Team
The lessons we learned are not only for management, they are for everyone.
Think about it:
- When you collaborate with teammates, do you recognize the different personalities and styles at play?
- If you’re more dominant, are you making space for others to contribute?
- If you’re more steady or detail-oriented, are you stepping up to share your perspective so the team sees the full picture?
- For those of you preparing to step into leadership roles soon, how are you practicing empathy, influence, and appreciation today?
The future of Webby Group is not built only by its leaders, it is built by every member of the team. The way you communicate, support, and influence each other today is shaping the culture we will all grow in tomorrow.
So here’s our commitment to you: as leaders, we will keep learning, improving, and making space for your growth. And here’s our ask from you: keep pushing yourself, keep collaborating, and keep building the kind of company you are proud to grow with.
Together, we will go further.
Dream IT, Believe IT, Build IT!
