The Client A cafe born in Brunei, Brew9 is an artisan in coffee brewing techniques, with a menu of sugary treats and delectable drinks that cater to the sweet tooth in many. As a tech F&B startup, Brew9's primary goal for 2020 is to enhance its foundation for digital transformation, which includes new customer-centric app features, an internal management system, and the building of a big data ecosystem. As of today, Brew9 has surpassed 10,000 consumers utilising the Brew9 Mobile Ordering App for the "Brew9 digital experience," a feat for their modest IT team. By the end of 2021, Brew9 has 3 stores - The Walk Beribi, The Mall Flagship Store and the latest in Serusop. The Challenge Our client requested a fresh user interface design for the Brew9 2.0 application. Their motivation for developing a new app is that the first version lacked the flexibility to combine and fit additional sub-brand products. Additionally, they want to remodel their membership structure and improve the general UI design to place a greater emphasis on their brand identity. Additionally, our client requested us to redesign the kiosk user interface, the queueing display interface, and the Merchant Terminal System user interface. The Solution Webby designed two versions of mobile apps for Brew9, each with an easy-to-use order and delivery system as well as a clear, easy-to-read interface that caters to all customers. We also help our client in redesigning the client store kiosk interface, which would serve customers inside Brew9 cafés throughout Brunei. Furthermore, we helped our client in designing a queueing display interface which focused on readability and matched business branding; the order queueing screen was planned to be displayed at the front of the counter to allow customers to verify their orders. Afterwards, we assist our client in designing the user interface for the merchant terminal system.
